If you can afford the Passat go for it! The Jetta is a great car but the Passat is even nicer. Nothing looks sweeter than a lowered Passat wagon running on 18's. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

The Passat is definately nicer. BUt if you really want a manual, you should go with the Passat. Unless you can deal with some lag with the tiptronic. Either way, whatever you choose is a great choice.
