somebody stop me from buying an 07 gti please, i have a paid off 2003 black gti with 14k miles and ready to mod....or i trade it in for a white 2.0T and pay close to 400$ per month for 48 months....now what should i do???

whats wrong with you? you just paid off your car. now its yours to play with. car payments suck. mk4 good.
ready to mod. what better excuse to keep it than that?

Use that $400 a month you'd spend on car payments for mods. Trust me, you'll be so glad you did.

I really like the MKV, but I find the more I look at it, the more I realize I still love the MKIV's.
I say get what you think you can keep and enjoy for more then a couple months

Ive test driven 3 mk5 GTis. They destroy the mk4 in every respect.

its already paid off and it only has 14k miles.... dammmmmmn.
keep it and modify it, think about it this way.
1. you have no payment. <--- WTF awesome.
2. your insurance is cheaper then a new car.
3. registration will be way cheaper.
4. ITS PAID OFF!!!! NO PAYMENT!!!!!

personally, i think the mkv is awesome. i think it looks nice, its got a lot more performance features, and it already has a very good aftermarket.
but i still like the looks of the mkiv better. and i dont like the idea of spending 23-25k on a mkv when i could get a wrx for about the same price.
