Hello Everyone.
I am looking for assistance in tracking down an individual who stiffed me on a transaction for a ABD grill I sold to him.
Story : This is a college kid to whom I had sold my Enkie rims(clean transaction). He came to my house from the Boston area to pick them up (roughly 2 1/2 drive). A few months later I decided to sell my ABD badgeless grill and he expressed that he wanted it. We finalized a price and I shipped it to him with the understanding he would them send me the money (stupid me for trusting this kid). Then he basically fell of the face of the earth..... I've been trying to look for him on here but to no avail. This is my last resort.
This is what I know about him, so if you know of anyone fitting this description please contact me or post here. Or if the individual sees this post, here is your final chance to resolve this as an adult.
Race : Asian
Education : College student
Car : Blue Jetta 4, probably with my old Enkie Suzuka 17" wheels and my ABD badgeless grill... I also believe he popped in the NS charger
Old AIM name : Altamate
Unfortunately that all the info I know since it's been a good 3-4 months from the initial problem.

Well if I don't find him beforehand, I'll have to stuff him in his trunk when I come across him at a VW show

Sorry for venting, but i just want to resolve this issue

I never held onto this info.... i didn't think it was necessary since we completed one traction beforehand and discussed cars frequently on AIM.

I think I may know this kid you are talking about. I stay in Worcester which is about an hour from Boston

Any chance you happen to see around anywhere...shows? Get togethers? School?

Bump -- since I don't like to see anyone get screwed.
Oscar - Native Bostonian here so I've got my eyes open for you. If I see the car, I can get a name and address for you from his plates; that's the easy part.

I'm not a Jetta owner so you'll have to tell me what model years a Jetta 4 is (current body style?).

i've seen a couple of modded blue jettas off the green b line (bc, allston,brighton) can you post a pic of the rims? i'll keep an eye out when i'm up there

i live near hartford, so here is the deal. ill meet you in a parking garage there in the middle of the day and you can give me $150. ill take the money and you close your eyes and count to 30. by the end of the day you will have your money from your "pal" up in boston.

HEHEHE.... I really do i hope i run into him at VW shows. I plan on attending many in the MA area.

yea, i'm pretty sure i've seen that car parked on comm ave. along the B line... i'm prob. going up there next week, so i'll bring my digital camera and keep an eye out..
