HELP NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!!!!

I am mid way through putting the turbo in the car. (8V 2L). Just about to put the head on and torque down the bolts when we see in the instructions for the copper head gasket that we need to use a certain brand of sealant on it. Does anyone know, 110% for sure, what brands we can use and what we can't? Is the permatex stuff ok? Help, this is the brick wall I was afraid of hitting. Its sunday and we only have a few brands of sealant, but not the type that they are asking for. HELP!!!!

permatex makes a sealant for copper gaskets.
is this what you have?

Yeah its the copper head gasket. Reduces compression from 10 to 8.5. We just wnat to make sure we are using the right sealant as it doesn't list permatex as the one to use.

no, you misunderstood me,
permatex makes MANY sealants. ONE of them is for copper gaskets.
is this the sealant you have?

ask for the Permatex brand sprayable HYLOMAR thats the stuff you want

Yeah Hylomar is what it asks for. So it it made by permatex? Is there another suitable sealant that can safely be used as an alternative if that can't be found? Why the hell would they put that in the package and not on the outside of it?? We found it saturday night, and now the car has been laid up for an extra day because we have to find out if there is something else we can use!

OK so what are some of the sealants I can use. Brand and mix please. Why then hell would they not ask you if you need any when you buy the gasket?!?! THis is urgent. MY car can't be finished until I get some. I can't find the Valco Holymar stuff.
