What can I do about the ugly as hell plastic fenders and bumpers on my 1990 Jetta GL. Could I replace them with nicer looking ones or am I just screwed on this subject?????

Re: Help on my Mk. II Jetta (Kid_Tuner)

do you have big bumpers or small bumper? and the trim can be removed you'll probably have to do some filling for the attachment holes and paint them up. if you've got the money and want to go with a cleaner look i suggest shave the front side markers, audi door handles or the a3 look handles, no molding and big bumpers. just my thoughts though.

for a cleaner look, you can just pop off the side mouldings and shave the holes (if you've got some time on your hands), front and rear, on the rubber parts, peanut oil is cheap and works so good to restore that lovely shine. Hopefully that makes it a little less rat.
