Hi this is my first post here but any help would be much appreciated....I have a 2002 GTI 1.8T with stage 1 revo flash, cat back exhaust and CAI.....my car broke down today and after lots headaches a fellow VW driver told me to check my MAF and that turned out to be the problem...so i unplugged it and it runs fine but he said i should ask on here how to clean it so any help would be appreciated......my real problem though is my traction control light on my car the "ASR" wont cut off...when i start the car the little light stays on as if the ASR has been turned off and when i press the button nothing happens.....can anyone help me out???? no idea what is causing it but i was thinking maybe the REVO???? Pls help.

The last time I saw a 1.8t that had your problem w/ the light, he was also experiencing power loss. His problem was the ASR module needed to be replaced. It was covered by warranty for him.
