double and triple check all of your connections
use the lower seatbelt bolt under the rear seats as a good ground for your amp http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I'm finishing up an install of speakers, amp and new CD player in my Golf MK4 However, the stereo shorts when i wind the windows all the way up or down. When I wind it all the way down, it also makes a clicking noise every now and then Any idea of what the problem is? I'd take off the metal panel in front of the window, but it seems to be quite difficult.. Any help would be much appreciated
P.S. How did you guys mount your amps in the trunk? Any pics would be great. Finding a ground without drilling through anything seems to be a struggle |
