help w/ battery please.

I thinnk my battery is dead and was wondering which one i should get to replace it? Is it difficult to change? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah the car is a 2000 Golf 1.8. Thank you... Rick

My battery just went deaa about a week ago in my jetta. It is not that hard to replace, if I remember correctly one bolt that is 12mm or 13mm. not sure. good luck

Batteries in VWs are no different than in other cars. Buy the right size, unbolt the old, bolt in the new. You will need to remove the insulating box however, that most cars don't have.
