Help w/ exhaust tips on new Jetta:
I just installed the exhaust tips on my 2k2 Jetta, but they don't look right. Once installed, they look too low! And they are kinda pointed downward?!? I thought they were going to be closer to the bumper and only poking out a little. Is this right? Have you guys installed these and experienced the same thing?

I just bought the factory dual round chrome tips from the dealer for my 2K Golf and I thought the same exact thing. I shoved them up as far as they could go before tightening them, and they look fine to me.
They have to be low like that since they duck under the factory valence and mine clear it by a few mm so I think I installed them properly.

Re: same here!!! those are 4 bugs only, even tho they say Jetta

They were developed 4 Bugs, because the Bugs Muffler is up higher. I took mine back to the dealer because that POS tip scrapes the floor everytime I pull in a driveway. while there, we shoved it ov a bugs and it was sweet, perfect fit. they refunded my money even though they were scraped to hell
