HELP!!!! with ABS pump on 1994 VR6

My ABS idiot light comes on after a few miles of driving the car. The ABS pump comes on for no reason at all. It comes on when I am not touching the brake peddal. I can hear it and feel it when it starts pumping. Is there a way to dissable this pump? I can't take the car to the dealer at this time.
I wanted to hear feedback from anyone that may have had this problem.
