I've noticed that the driver's seat in my '99 Jetta GLX makes a popping sound everytime I make a turn. Irregardless of the character of the turn, it pops. Also I noticed it to squeak a lot lately even with the car stationary and I'm the one moving while on it. Anybody experienced and remedied this problem?

I am, and mine does the same... jetta's dont like 250 lb dudes in the drivers seat

oh well.. i got use to it.. turn up the beats!!!

not at all, i weigh less than 150#.

I expierience the same thing and im only 180 pounds.

Yup, mine does it too, kind of a squeaking creaking sound, but only when I turn right
