Managed to get my euro rear bumper on, but I had to take off the rebar. Does anyone know were I have to trim it to make it work.

Re: Help with euro rear bumper (GTI2lo)

Much trimming.
Hard to explain..but I took off the middle part that kinda sticks out and I also had to cut a bunch off the bottom portion of the rebar to get it to go on straight. Basically just trial and error till it fits. in the end there isn't a hell of a lot of metal left either.

Do you have any pics? Really don't feel safe driving around without a rebar in the back. I can live without a front one that functions.

You can buy the rear euro rebar from PG for about $60 US, but I am not sure how easy it is to bolt on since I have only done my front so far....
