based on the info you gave, my only recommendation would be to have someone scan with a VAG-COM since it should show any faults.

My radio in my 03 jetta 1.8t will power on, but it will not play audio.........when i turn the volume all the way down it still beeps so not thinking it is the speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks so much. Red
