Ok so,
im installing my s3+
in the install booklet, it just says to put the injectors in
but the injectors seat too high

its stopped me straight out...
please help me
also any other tips and such on how to make the install go quicker

are you trying to install the newer version or the older version of injectors
with the seal rings they fit very tight, take care that you dont tear the seals

im not sure
they are the green ones..?
and they look nothing like the ones that are illustrated in the install booklet

well i guess i have the old ones
what should i do guys...
the car needs to be running sunday, momnday at the latest
should i install and hope i dont have any issues? and if i don continue how do i go about getting those injector seats in there correctly
or should i just start slappin the stock stuff back on there??

hadnt tried
didnt realise i had to use the new bungs til after, whats the easiest way to get the bungs into the manifold?

brotha you need to retap the threads on your intake manifold then seal the threaded area on the injector seats and walla your done ......

take the manifold off the car
take out the old bungs
tap the treads to make sure they are clean
clean intake manifold to make sure no crap fell in it
intall new bungs
reinstall manifold
done

sounds like i have alot of work to do
how long does that usually take?
also whats the easiest way to quickly get the manifold off...

how do i get the stock bungs out?
and do i need another gasket, or can i just use that one again?

people who rush through this usually have to go back and do it again... dont hurry yourself by making a deadline... things get screwed up and broke that way... and im speaking from experence...

Chisel the old ones out then take it to a shop to clean the threads for you.
The 27mm tap isn't cheap, it's like $75 for 1 time use.
