Well I've done it again. I got another badge for my car. This one takes the place of the VW on the rear hatch. If you didn't already know, I love my badges. I change them all the time and when I found this one I had to have it!!!!! Anything with the VW Motorsport logo on it and I'm shelling out the cash!! Again, I know some of ya'll don't care for any badges on your car, that's fine it's your car. I do like them.....if ya'll don't like it, keep your comments to yourself

Melmer- I got it from
http://www.trimsport.co.uk and it wasn't cheap. It's made of solid aluminum with 2 screws on the back side. I'm sure it could be mounted with sticky tape, but with the theiving people around here ( someone stole my SPORT badge a few weeks ago ) I'm gonna mount it proper. You take the trim piece off of your hatch ( on the inside of the car ) and use the 2 screws through the 2 holes that are behind your VW badge. Wow, me a trend setter imagine that

I've soo much VW Motorsport stuff I can't keep track of it all, shirts, hats and lots of different badges. I got another one the other day(the one on the Trimsport page ), I'll have to take some pics to show ya'll!!!
Right now a friend of mine ( I'm sure alot of ya'll know him too!!! ) is over in the Fatherland for business. He's gonna pick me up any and all VWMS stuff he can find, I hope he comes back with some really unusuall stuff!!!!!

Kurt- yea, I think it will look good also, I'm just not sure I really want to put it on. I'm sure some a-hole will try and steal it and mess up my hatch trying to get it off. OR maybe I'll just hold it until my euro hatch gets here and put it on that?? What do you think??

Yea, I wish he'd bring that back!!!!! I don't think my $200.00 would go that far!!! I just asked him for some little things ( shirts, badges, well really anything with the VWMS logo on it ). I'm sure he'll bring back some things I've already got. I'll just post them on the vortex

Yea, the badge is kinda pricey and I don't know why, I just had to have it!!!!!.
Yea I'm going with f/r euro bumpers, euro hatch and if some of ya'll were paying attention I vowed I would HAVE something and well, uhhh let's just say it's on it's way

I can't wait!!!! I'll be putting pics of that up when I get all my parts together!!!!!

I would not put it on the car permanently, I would only put it on for shows. Either that or wait for the eurohatch. I would hate for you to tell me it was stolen.

No offense, but $80 does seem excessive for the Trimsport badge. I could make that for $30-35. I am a CNC machinist and I have been working on some 3D designs.
I made these for the B5 Passat. They're based on a design I made for my Jetta a couple years ago. What do you think? Anybody got any ideas for the Mk IIIs?
