I had a friend that had two of those. One was basically stock, not a trailer queen but a good looking, solid running example. The other was a beast from hell, had a 509 motor in it with sidepipes. Made the hair stand up on your neck at idle.

We had a 1956 100M that we restored and was a very fun car. If you are willing to put in the time and extra money (parts are readily available and not that expensive) do it. Speaking of parts, if the numbers match, it's very hard to find such an early example with the original motor. The car looks to be a very good, dry car. However, don't buy it off ebay, see it first as there tend to be hidden suprises with buying a car in that shape. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
