Ok, well, I can see here that we have a dandy group of folks here. So, I just thought of something. I know what you're thinkin. You're thinkin "Na, he doesn't really know what I am thinkin". See, I am good at this ish. Anyhows...I think we should dig up some web space somewhere and set up a site for ourselfs. Nothin spectacular. Our cars already do that for us. (sorry 'bout all the corn bein tossed around). But, seriously...We should set up a site with our cars and profiles for us so the whole world can see that we exist.
I am sure that we have enough people here do get it all done and done well. I have HTML, LightWave, PhotoShop and Illustrator experiance. I know we have some photo freaks out there. And, I am pretty sure there are some good authors out there. See, us dubers are a smart breed o'peoples. We can do it!!!!
It would be FANTABULOUS! hehe, that word makes me laugh. sorry....
Anyways, I saw someone stated we should get a non-club organization going and call it Vortex SouthWest or something along those lines. So, I know some of you are already on that track of thinking. Let me know what you think.

I'm actually dying to set something like this up.
Anyone here good at design work? i can provide the web space ..
and i'd love to do the back end work ... user profiles and pics and stuff.

i was thinkin' like arizonaveedubs.com :p
i've actually been working on an album system .. something that'd let people host whatever pictures up there... make thumbnails and stuff like that ... so i'm definitely interested.
anyway. . just email me if you need any help.

Ok, I can do most if not all of the graphics work. The company, Digital Canvas I helped set up so I obviously have connections there. I may be able to get us free webspace. We need to sit down and figure this out. It sounds like yall wanna do this so lets actually do it then.

That sounds like something we could talk about at the GTG. There was talk about this before (a few times). Like Juicy said, pnkthunma (sp?) also has a lot of interest in it. It may also help the cause for the proposed SW event, we could get some good exposure.

Ya, I am goin on Sat. I probably won't show up untill a tad later. Its my nephews b-day on Sat and his party is over at 4:00. So, a quick hop, skip and a jump and I should be at the GTG around 4-4:30 or so...But ya, we should definatly meet about this

From I-10, take 60 East (Superstition), get on 101 North (Pima Freeway), exit Indian Bend Rd. and go Left, turn right into parking lot after McDonalds and you will see a GRIP of cars. The VW guys are generally more towards YC's Mongollian BBQ somewhere. Hope that helps. - Andy
