What's up, just got my VAG-COM today, I think I have a faulty interface, but that's a long story, I called the guys at rosstech and they were GREAT!! I am sending back my unit saturday and they are sending me a new one!
Thanks! and now for the good stuff.
ever since I took my intake manifold off my car has been throwing CEL's ASR's and EPC's and running HORRIBLE, so I got a VAG. I ran my engine and I came up with a WOPPING 14 faults, here they are...
(even though I have a faulty unit, I can still use shareware so only the first one shows up in text, sorry)

some of those are charge pressure limit exceeded, and oxygen sensor failed, and stuff like that
so I cleared them all and took the car for a spin, and everytime I put the clutch in the rpms dropped real low then leveled out, it even stalled twice in like a 3 minute ride
came back and checked my faults, it was Mass Air Flow sensor too low (not verbatim but you know what I mean), so I cleaned my MAF and now my car is running GREAT!!! just like brand new so my question is..... should I be happy, or scared..... sorry for the long posts, but thanks I'll be hanging in here alot from now on so I'll talk to you all later
GO ROSS-TECH and VAG-COM!!
EDIT: almost forgot I have a 2001 jetta 1.8T AWD

as long as all or those crazy errors don't come back, I wouldn't worry about it too much. They could've been stored in there from a long time ago.
If they do come back, than you can start worrying

!! uh oh, some of them have come back, if I drive on the highway for even a few minutes I get the "running to lean" DTC and "MAF signal to low", could this be because I never adjusted my TB when I put it back on, and it's not letting the correct amount of air in?, or maybe something more......
