I just bought a new GTI today. I am interested in upgrading the fog lights to HIDs. I did a search for posts on here but found nothing for the Mark V. Can anybody help? Thanks.

Haha, I'll post here too. I havent seen anything except for "hid like" bulbs.

Thanks for the link Chris. I hope all works out with your new GLI. I saw on another post that you plan on putting in an I-pod adapter. How are you going to mount it? Does the GLI or GTI have a port in the glovebox like the A4?

I actually already have it in my soon to be gone gli now... I have the Ice-Link and the cable runs from the floor and then straight up to where it is mounted to my dash. I bought a pro-clip for the mount. http://enfigcarstereo.com/shop....html
It works great and looks good and clean!!

So they are still gonna buy your GLI back? I dknow if you saw my post or not, but when the dealer replaced my O2 sensor, it completely got rid of my CEL issue. Youu may want to look into that.

Actually, they checked the O2 sensors and probably replaced them as they pretty much rebuilt the engine/exhaust trying to find the problem. There was just nothing the could do so they decided to buy it back. I posted this today about what my plans are here. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2571258
