What causes this? It's not necessarily rough. It's just holding at 1k rpm and I'm not sure if I should be concerned.

I did recently just delete my evap system, though. Could it be connected and is there a fix?

a vacuum leak can cause high idle...... check all your hoses and if possible to a pressure check on the system.
