Who has bought this grill? I like the look but know nothing about it. Would you recommend it? How well does it fit? I heard there were slight problems with Oetinger grills because of tiny differences between Euro and NA VW's. Since Hoefele is also from Germany, I was wondering. Thanks.

Well, I can get my parents in Europe to get it for me. I just want to make sure that there are no significant difference between the European golf and the North American Golf that would make fitting difficult. I vaguely remember reading a post a while ago saying that the Oetinger grills are hard to fit because the bumbers are slighter larger here. But I may be wrong. Anyone?

i spoke to HPA and they dont carry the parts for the golfs but they have them for the beetle , i dont get it, y not for the golf's???

I don't have the grill but I have some other Hofele products. I got them from http://www.mgracing.an/hofele_borra_jetta.htm and their really nice people.
