Hey guys,
I visited a website a while back that belonged to a guy that owned an a2 gti, that he made his own turbo setup for. He made it by sourcing a turbo diesel turbo manifold, and he made his own intercooler piping, etc.
Anyone know the address to his site?

I remember an old article in european car magazine back when they focused on VW's , circia 1986 that outlined the whole procedure using turbo deisel parts.

why is that?
i had a 98 gti and my 87 gti 16v is far superior to it.

No he didn't use the diesel turbo, he had a t3 refurbished I think. In the end I believe he had a great turbo set up. And he had the car painted too. The whole project was outlined on his website. They painted the car the wrong color by mistake, it turned out some dark blue or something.. He had pictures taken for a photo shoot.. Just trying to jog people's memories, I can't remember anything else about it.
