Houston I GOT PROBLEMS, please help.....

ok so im switching my old kenwood amp with a new rockford amp for my door speakers and i got o undo the power wire and sparks shoot off it, do i need to dis connect the battery or something? should i jsut wair rubber gloves?

Dude when doing ANY electrical wiring turn off the power!
You could blow very sensitive electrical componentry

I hope you like car fires cause you're going to cause one !! ALWAYS disconnect the battery before messing with your system . You just proved why. If you're lucky it was just sparks , if not you've damaged some equipment.

ggggeeeeezzzz, ok ok ok now i know and i wil never do it agian.
only damage was a blown amp fuse, but thanks for fearing for my safety guys
