well let me tell you, I had a pretty crappy night last night. I was coming home from work at about 6:30 and it had been raining all day and was just now drying up. I was driving on a two lane road and I went around a turn at about 35-40 mph (you can normally take this turn at 60mph no problem) and then I must have hit a patch of sand or gravel or something and my back end started to slip out. I tried to compensate and the next thing I knew I was fish tailing. I then went up on the dirt barrier and then when I came back down it to try to get back on the road my front left tire caught a ditch and the flipped my car completely over leaving my car back on it's wheels in the right lane parallel to traffic. Luckily there were not any cars coming becasue that could have been really bad. And I wasnt hurt at all, because I was wearing my seat belt. The only scratches I got were from a binder than I had laying on the passenger side floor that flew and hit my arm and face, nothing major at all. Well I just have to say VWs are amazingly safe cars!!! considering I flipped my car completely over, I had no injuries and the front driver side of the roof and the rear passenger side of the roof were dented in about 1.5 inches. That says a lot about VA safety!! All I have to say is that I hate sand!!! and wear your seatbelt becasue you never know what could happen and hopefully my car isnt totalled. I'll try to post pocs in a few days.
