Will the high beams be able to flash like normal halogen high beams when you pull the lever back? How exactly do they work? Will they work with projectors?

watch the little video they have.
they won't work with a projector because a projector is made for low beam only. It has a shield that blocks out the highbeam portion.

Ok, do all HI/Lo kits work the same way as the video or are their different types?

no, there are different solutions to the same problem
one company increases the light out put of the bulb while the bulb remians in the same area
the autolamps kit is neat as it moves the foacl point of the hid bulb to make use of the stock reflectors
you can flash with this set up, but the hids would have to he on, and it wouldn't be too visable at all
only at night and not easily noticalbe then (in may seem to the other car that you just hit a bump in the road and your lights aimed up for a sec)
the OEM soultion for the most part is Bi exnon projectors
that use a moveable sheild to create high and low breams with one bulb
but, they also have secondary high beams for legal requirements
