How do I bypass the supercharger??

I just bought a g60 with a blown SC and need to drive it an hour and a half home. How do i bypass the SC so I dont mess anything up?

remove the charger, use a 59" serp belt, screw the oil sensor into the side of the head after removing the fittings on the side of the head, either remove and plug the oil return line or put a nut and bolt through the banjo fitting. Then you have to make a piece to connect the boost return and IC pipe to the airfilter assembly

actually it looks like the G60 doesn't need to be removed to install the 59" belt. then there is no need to mess with the oil lines. But if there is a hole in the charger you should remove it

nah, no hole. just crap boost. do you guys think it would make the trip home??

crap boost means its probably not worth bypassing or rebuilding. max bosst is???

if the SC has crappy boost why shouldnt I have it rebuilt?

Are you sure there is no leak in the system??

i dont know what kind of boost its putting out right now. Im going to look at/buy the car tonight. The owner drove it from NJ to Staten Island w/o a problem so i dont see why it wouldnt make the trip to southern orange from the city

actually i dont....could be something as simple as a bad leak. But its got 134k on the original charger soooooo
