I'm trying to get the panels off so I can line em with felt to stop squeaks. The Bentley says "Remove door pull trim" Well, I try, starting at the end near the hinges, where the little round speaker-cover is, but it flexes alot. I'm afraid to put too much pressure on it, in case it snaps. Any suggestions?!

Thanks...I just sacked-up and pulled harder on the trim piece and it came off.

You might want to note that the pictures are from the older cars. My 98 Jetta w/ power windows has those two trim pieces molded as one piece.
