Sure, I'm a little chubby around the middle, but that's not what I'm talking about. how do you guys fit your head into a Scirocco?
I have a 2000 Golf, with no sunroof. Today I drove a 16V Scirocco with a sunroof, and I had to nearly recline to seat all the way just so my head would fit inside the car! With the seat forward so I could reach the pedals and the seat height all the way down, I had to recline the seat way back, a very uncomfortable driving position.
I wonder how the heck VW expected anyone over 4'5" to sit upright in these things. The only way I'd have had enough headroom is if I didn't have a head.
I like the way the car handled, but breathed a sigh of relief as I got into my Golf and was able to sit upright again!

I'm 6'1", 220lbs and fit into mine with no problems.

5'11", I know not very tall but I'm like 1 1/2 from the roof with the seat height all the way up. You do know that you can lower the seat like 3"?

5'8" Not a problem at all to fit. Just I have a hard time reaching the pedals because my seat is stuck. My cousin could fit in my 84 hes 5'11" I guess because of the sunroof

I don't fit. I'm 6'2". I fit fine in my '83 (no sunroof), but the sunroof in my '87 is robbing me of some needed headroom. I'm looking for some Corrado seats (lower).

I'm 6'1 and 280. No problem with the seat-bottom down. Not even leaned back real far...Hmmm

I'm about 5'9" 160lbs, and I fit my scirocco perfectly, and she fits me perfectly.

Hehe.. I have a sunroof.. annnnd...
I'm 6'4" and about 210. I'm really long. My seats all the way back,
and lowered.. via that little handle on the side.. When i'm going fast
on the highway and the rode is bumpy i hit my head.
But it's not uncomfortable.

6'2" 235 here i have no problems except for the occasional head hitting when blasting down a bumpy road

6'3 and 170 here. I have no probs... even when I am autoxing with a helmet. Should be a little harder when I get Sparcos...

I am 6'2" & 220 and bump my head getting into my rocc. Then again I am a klutz. I feel kinda cramped inside and the my legs get in the way of the wheel sometimes.

I've considered doing a chop-top Rocc because I have too much space to the roof with the seat all the way down and slightly reclined .. and I'm a good 5'11.

About 6'2" 170 here. Fit just fine in my non-sunroofed 85. Very comfortable, that's why I got it!

6" 160lbs and i fit snugly...
It's getting in and out that's hard !
Especially from a high sidewalk....
also, i hit my head on the sunroof edge
when hitting a bump in a curve sometimes !

I've had stuck seats for a while but
have found it to be only when the
seat is all the way up or all the way
down. If i set the height halfway, i
can move the seat back and forth
no problems....as soon as i lower it,
it locks there !
My sunroof is gutted 'cause the cloth panel
got all stuck and ripped in the mecanism....
so i took it out (ripped it out actually) and painted
the hole sunroof and mecanism (inside !!) a matte
black. You don't notice it when in the car, but it looks
good anyways...and now my hair doesn't rub on the
roof anymore.

I'm 5'11" I still hit my head on the top of the doorsill sometimes,
after 15 yrs. Once I'm in there it fits like a glove.

The strangest thing is I've never hit my head on the roof on my Scirocco with sunroof. But multiple occasions I've hit my head in getting in my mom's Honda Odessey, I don't know why, but it always happens on it. Never happened on the Eurovan

Damn all the rocco owners are tall like me 6'1" @190ish, the olny thing I wish it had was an adjustable steering collum, but a smaller wheel will do

6'2/230, and I fit fine with (thankfully) no sunroof. I've even worn a helmet without drama. I'm long-legged for my size so that helps in the headroom department.. legroom is fine with the seat all the way back and moderate seatback recline.

I'm 5'11 155lbs and just started to hate life 1 hour ago when I installed my new Corbeau Carrera seats. I have about 1/2in to 3/4 room above my head.

NOTE: this is the 1st time I have ever used the mad face so this just proves I'm VERY PISSED OFF AT THE MOMENT!
