How do you people keep your cars so shiny???? (ADD PICS)!~!~!~!~!~!

hey Guyz,
Its raining now in the bay area, I wanna give my baby a really good wash and wax when the rain quits for awhile. But i've waxed and cleaned and cleaned my baby, but never get that shine that i see in everyones pics. WHATS UP WITH THAT???? HOW DO YOU GUYs DO IT???

like anything else my friend it depends on quality products. My detailing process is as follows: First wash your car with a quality soap. Next (where needed) clay bar to remove any overspray ( I use the mother clay bar i think they sell it at pep boys.. Then I use my 3M hand glaze ( also purchased @ pep boys) over the whole car. This stuff will make your car glow.... Last since my car is silver i use Pinnacle wax, about $30. together with the your car will look like a show car.
this process takesd about 41/2 hrs so be prepared fore pain and make sure its a clear day out. and donot apply and products in direct sunlight.
important details: donot apply hand glaze or wax in circular motion always a sided to side motion this will prevent visible scratches..

Yeah it definitely does but it's too bad it doesn't last more than a month. Can't get much deeper of a shine with the 3M IHG and Blitz combo. But if you want longevity for winter months try the Klasse All in One and then Sealant glaze. It supposedly lasts 6-12 months depending on application and conditions. I applied mine about a month ago, it still looks great. But we'll see how it holds up over the winter.

I tried Klasse for the first time two weeks ago. Man that stuff is awesome!!! The car is shiny, almost with a wet look to it. It's been raining here and the car is dirty, but when I pointed the car out to a friend from inside a building looking into a parking lot, the first thing he mentioned is how shiny it is! And it was dirty!
Klasse all the way!!

This after a wash and coat of Blitz wax on top of 5 month old 3M IHG/Blitz and 2 month old second coat Blitz. Pics from last week.

3M IHG + BLITZ WAX = Heaven
I will use KLASSE AIO + KLASSE SG + BLITZ WAX this time around, lets see how it goes
the longevity of klasse and the shine of blitz...

Looks like it's between Wash + 3M Hand Glaze + One Grand Blitz Wax and Klasse All in One and then Sealant glaze. Based on the posts, I should be able to buy the former at Pep Boys. Where does one purchase the Klasse All in One and Sealant Glaze? I might like to try that one since it is suppose to last longer.

Jac: it depends on what your going for...

Klasse AIO is a cleaner and swirl filler just like 3M IHG
now for the wax... Klasse SG is a Polymer and lasts upto 6 months. Polymers usually dont offer that "depth" found in Carnuba waxes. But its one of the shiniest Polymers out there. Wax is just a nice shiney wax (see my pic) but doesnt last long.
Thats why im doing Klasse polymer wax, then adding a coat of Blitz (carnuba) on top just for some extra shine

yosteve.com sells microfibre towels and Klasse samples for $15 (enough to do your car twice) i recommend getting that. Blitz wax can be purchased online its about $12-15... great stuff

got some REALLY SHINY CARS....
hopefully mine will be soon, after all this rain stops...
i think i'm going to try the Wash + 3M Hand Glaze + One Grand Blitz Wax..
it seems the most popular, and see how it goes..

sorry its dusty in that pic... but your looking at EIGHT YEAR OLD PAINT

It lasts a long time.... and its cake to work with and remove and you can put coat after coat on and it just keeps getting shinier and deeper in depth! . I have a friend (used to have his web addy... and pictures) that has 32 coats on his black car and the paint is so wet looking it seems as if you could litterally dive into the paint and swim in it.

First what kind of quality soap are we talking about? What do you use? What is the actual name of the clay bar, 3M hand glaze, and Pinnacle wax, so i can go out and buy these things for my car. How much is everything all together. Thanx

Ken, that is exactly how my car looks!! except its a vr6 with beige leather.
what % tint is that? i need to tint mine badly

anyways, i use p21s shampoo, klasse all-in-one, then klasse sealant glaze ..
gonna get me some blitz and apply on top of the classe and see how it looks
