how hard is this?!?

I am seriously considering getting a short shifter for my 95 Jetta VR6 to eliminate some of the throw distance. I was wondering how hard it is to install? Is there any online tutorials? As always, Thanks for the help! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

A lot of folks have recommended the shifter from DieselGeek. Cheapest and many like it... esp the side to side reduction it offers.

What is the average price? Is the side to side make a noticeable diffrence?

Well, the tranny bolt was a b!tch to get off...other than that its a really simple install. I have a Neuspeed and started to hate it. Starting to hate short shifters in general... sure its a shorter throw, but its way harder to get in certain gears, 2nd for example....i dont think the "short" throw makes up for the struggle to get into gears....im gonna change mine back to stock when i get my car back....
wanna buy my Neuspeed one???

The VR6 short shifter kits are far different than the 2.0 ones.
