Any suggestions on how many miles I should put on the motor before I dyno? The block was honed/re-ringed w/ all new bearings, gaskets and seals. The head got port and polished, lapped in valves and new valve seals. Installed a VF stage 2 as well
I've put about 600 miles on it so far. I'm going to switch to synthetic @ 1500 miles. Ok to dyno then or will waiting longer free up a few more hp? Trying to hit 250whp.

Re: How long after rebuild until dyno? (need_a_VR6)

Wow, that soon huh? I changed the oil at 10 miles and then at about 50 miles. It's got about 600 miles now so I guess it's due again. Maybe I'll wait until about 3k to dyno. That way no excuses if the numbers are low
You been to the track yet? If so where?

Nice http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif Hope to see you there. I'll probably do Cecil and Atco. I'm gonna give it some time though. If the trans isn't shifting perfect I'm not going near a track. Already learned my lesson
