I'm still considering adding an exhaust to my problem prone GTI1.8T, My concern is the sound though. I would like to utilize an 3inch downpipe and highflow cat. but I want to retain a muffler that is very silent. Is there any way to do this with out making my vw sound like a police magnet? what have you all done do you just say screw it and go for the 3 inch from the downpipe back? thats what I really want to do custom piped 3 inch form the highflow cat to a generic muffler but that would be WAY TO LOUD for me!!
