How low should I go?

I have a 1997 Jedda GT 2.0 8v, with 17 inch rubber rollers. How far should I lower the car without tire rubbage? Can 1.5" be done without any problems? I don't want to roll the fenders, and I never have more than me, my wife, and my baby boy in the car. Any ideas? Also, where is a good place to buy a set of springs. This will be done for looks only, I'm not a racer.

I would say you should be fine going down 1.5". What size tires are you running?
Maybe check out H&R Sport/ Bilstein combo.

P.S. Everyone on here is going to tell you to buy coilovers and slam it!

But seriously, a 60mm drop should do fine, like a little more then 2-2.5", I have 1.5" now and I hate the gap! (not the store, but I'm not to found about that one either!

Edit: You guys see the RedBull reflection in blck97vr6's fender! Funny!

Haha, yeah that Redbull reflection was pretty funny. I was just taking a pic to show the drop and that showed up.. I'm running Jamex Raceline coilovers. Not too sure how many inches it's dropped. Andy, that pic was at Chevron on Barrett Pkwy. VR6'n, thanks, if you want to see more pics, do a search for blck97vr6, you'll find some there. I post pics alot here.
