along with the chip post i just had, i have a question on lowering....how low should i go...i found some eibach springs that are 1.8 front and back...is that low enough...?

for street use the "perfect" drop is by H&R at 1.3 up front 1.4 in back but if you ask me just go as low as you can. nuespeed races = 2" drop all around. any lower requires coils/bags

I'm fine on H&R race springs and sport struts/shocks... 2" front and a tad less in the rear.driving on plenty crap roads.

err because when you buy a VW and decide to tune it, there is a REQUIRED height that you must lower it, its in the "how to modify your new car" guidebook...stupid noob, buy it, its like 35.00 (euro) roughly 42 bucks, read it, it'll tell you what chip to get and what altezza tails are the best...also, a new section on eyelids, really cool stuff in there http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

But my oil pan with 18" wheels on my vr sits about 1.5 " from thee ground so :S
