Hey guys, i was wondering how low i should drop the jetta.
I would like something reasonable, but not slammed to the ground, I was thinking maybe 1.5 or 2?
What do you guys run?
What brands are best would you say?
And would you reccomend a couple decent online store to buy from?
Id like springs, but coilovers could be a possibility.
Thanks alot!

slam the sucker, mine has intrax gti springs and its like.....id say, 2.5 to 2 3/4 lower than stock, on 14" snowflakes and i dont rub, and the ride isn't bad http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif dont use boge shocks though, they'll only last like 5-6 months, before they blow, they dont like to be lowered.

Re: (munks)

proper lowering is only 1.5 inches or less ...in the front the a arms should be straight from the k member..... if you go lower its causin alot of friction on the suspension....i would go with spherical bearings or at least poly bushings....clowns messing around with susp[ension shouldnt wine or complain when i say go with best parts.....if you go really lower you are puttingALOT of wear on the poor control arms....its a terrible suspension design....those honda boys got us there with dual control arms...
