how many corrado owners in the cleveland area?

looking to start having bi-monthly meetings with us(gruevn auto werks)
gruven sponcers the great lakes vw club but they meet like once a year
we want to to get the VW population around cleveland more active.
please let me know i will be contacting as many vw owners as i can
to start this

I'm going to school at Kent State University which is about an hour south, i think. unfortunatley my C is not with me but for good reasons. im planning on bringing her up her in may so keep me posted.

I live about 35 miles east of Cleveland. I drive to Euclid everyday because I work at Lincoln Electric.
Does anyone here own a Corrado and work at B&B Appliance? I see one there almost everyday on the way home.
I'm not sure if he's still there but a year or so ago there was a guy with a silver Corrado that worked at my plant. It had a decal on it that said Steel City VW Club or something along that line. Anyone familiar with him or that club?
I don't drive my Corrado right now though because I'm working on the stereo and some other things. Can I come in my Jetta?

wow! better late than never. i thought only people from new yawk were on here! i'm down in akron, but let me know what's up. i know we've met before. black corrado, cuyahoga valley run, summer of 2000 (or was that 99??). i'll spread the word down here…

I've been known to just pick up and drive crazy distances for GTG's.

Really?!? Its really not that special...

Well, have you checked out OhioVW.com? They've got a pretty good site there with lots of info on GTG's.

Yeah they do. http://www.ohiovw.com has a ton of really cool guys too. Were having an Akron GTG march 9th. Check out the page for all the info. Thanks guys.

the only problem with summit mall might be security. we had a couple of gtg's there last summer and by the third week it was a bust. but maybe that was because of the pickup and mustang guys doing burnouts all over the place. hmm… can't wait to show off my goddamn saturn!! maybe i'll bring a photo of my poor corrado. haha. will we be seeing any of the gruven boys there?? how about you, benzie
