Anyone running redline in there? If so, do you dig it?

about 2 bottles is sufficent, and i really dont like the redline, plain old valvoline or penzoil gl1

Two quarts fills it with a little left over (a tablespoon?). I like Valvoline Synthetic. Tried Amsoil, but went back to Valvoline.

2.0 Liters or Quarts?
I was told or read somewhere it was 2.2 quarts but I usually just put 2 quarts of 75W90 Redline Gear oil.

2.4 quarts with OEM 020 or 02A tranny
2.1 quarts with Peloquin or Quaiffe diff due to the mass of the aftermarket diff

Redline can't hurt. It does save synchros supposedly.

The 020 takes about 2.4 QTS. or whenever oil starts spilling out the fill hole. If you look on the drivers side of the tranny you'll see a 17mm female hex plug (takes a special socket) about half way up the case, that is the fill hole. There is a like plug towards the bottom of the tranny to drain. You'll need a pump filled with VW GL-4 to fill. It is very simple if you posses the proper equipment.......
