I get so much sh** from my friends for constantly looking at my car as I walk away from it. Not only do I check out my own car, but I also will usually walk well out of my way to check out just about every other VW, Audi, or Porsche I see, modded to hell OR bone-stock... I'm not obsessed, I just appreciate fine art.

If I'm going to a restaurant, I try to park so that I can stare at it as I eat..
If I'm parking at work, same deal - and I try to angle the car and wheels just right so it looks cool..

Right now, I peak out of my apartment window every few minutes and flip it off. Bad battery and blown wastegate actuator = mad Cedric .

At school I park at the very end of the row, where I can see it during psychology class and from the library. I look back at it all the time, esp if I just washed, waxed or added a new mod

dang...i thought i was the only one that did this...i guess not...one time i triped over a curb, since i was walking backwards admiring my car, and BAM! i was on the ground...but i just cant help from looking at my car http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Haha, that reminds me. My friend always tells me the story about when he went to the courthouse to pay a speeding ticket. As he was walking to the front entrance, he kept turning and looking back at his newly lowered '95 GTI VR6. Then all of a sudden... Wham! He got a parking meter in the chest. There was a bum sitting/leaning against the wall just giving him a "wtf is wrong with you" look. hehehehe http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I did the same thing last summer. I waited tables, so I would park my car where I could see it out the window all the time.

I thought i was the only one.... My non-vw boys look at me weird but my dub boys know whats up.....
I look at it sometimes when i park it somewhere not to my satisfaction and think im never gonna see it again ........ but my baby is always there.....
common guys.... how could you not give this baby a double look

me too! everyone thinks I'm a freak, but something about a dub, and especially your own dub that just calls to you...ESPEcially after you just spent a few hours detailing it in places NO ONE WILL SEE!!!
