How much coolant?

I flushed my coolant the other day, and i filled it with half coolant half disitiled water for a total of gallon and a half (about 6 liters) this morning the coolant reservoir was empty, and i added another half gallon for a total of 2 gallons. Is that how much a '93 SLC takes?
