On my G60 I have like straight pipe exhuast(stainless) like from the headers to the all the way back..it has bigger cat converter and one muffler, how much ft/hp is it give?
Ask the Honda guys...If it has the fat coffee can tip on the tail pipe it's good for at least a few sticker....er, uh, I mean hundred HP.. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
I'd say with your exhaust and header, you're looking at a grand total of around 12-18hp, and perhaps 5-6 lb/ft of peak TQ. Although, this totally depends on the mods on the motor, the header's specs, and the size of your exhaust. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

LOL
Id love to see an exhaust that gives 25hp! Ill buy 2 of them!
But anyway to answer your ?, adding pipes dont do much! You need to get a FULL exhaust, not make your own with pipes, your pipes are bent by a mechanic shop and have kinks where the bends are, thats not good! Where with a full exhaust, all the bends are perfect with no kinks to restrict airflow.
Im guessing your getting now more than 2hp if that!
To be honest, you should have kept your stock exhaust and just had pipes welded where the mufflers where! Wouldve been better
When it comes to exhaust, you really do get what you pay for!
what you talking about it's techtonic full exhaust (stainless) and it's perfect fit too..(I think it's 3" or 2.5")I just wanted to know the trues like how much hp/ft it gives..K&N claims that on 8v VW motor gives 5hp but when they tested at the dyno they found out that it only gives like 1hp..
Like I said...probably 12-18hp over stock, depending on what mods are on the motor. The more power the engine is producing, the larger the benefits of your exhaust system.
In other words, the same exhaust on a stock G60 versus a Stage 4 G60 will have very different results.
sick vr6 he is getting about 20 HP...look at what he has a full exhaust system from the header back..that means...a Header, a High Flow Cat and a Cat-back exhaust with muffler.....by the way..high-flo cats are usually the best exhaust mod as far as HP gains.....the SLC however already has a high flow cat, hence the 6BHP more then any other VR6 from 92-98. but like i said a full exhaust from the header back will give you a very decent HP gain
K- lets say all you have is an intake, the exhaust your running now gives you maybe 2-3 hp, if you have headers then add about an extra 6-8hp.
If your running headers then thats a good amount of power, but your exhaust is whats sounds scary!

there is no way in HELL he is getting 20hp! His exhaust is mechanic shop made meaning it is restricting alot of air because of all the kinks! If he has a header then that is the only good thing about his exhaust besides his cat! He would get more power if he just took off his whole exhaust from behind the cat back!
Beleive me, i had 4 different kinds of exhaust for my Jetta and the only one that made a difference was the TT
!!!
My stock exhaust with no resinater was better than the straight pipes i had the shops make me!

sick, i had no idea where he got his exhaust system or how.....i just simply said a full system from header back including a high flo cat will make you very decent HP gain...also costs $$$......a 4-into-1 header, high flo cat and b&B tri-flo cat back with carbon muffler is sure to give you some extra juice.....but like you say.....his exhaust is custom bent, so not that much HP....

Lets say not..a header on a g 60 does not give 6-8 hp...in fact the dyno that I have seen with a brospeed header it actually lost power down low for a whopping 2hp near 6500rpms...
