I found a GTI just sitting in a field.. guy said he just swapped in a 16v before he left it sit there.. it doesnt run he said it has starter probs.. its not in bad shape other then front end damage on bumper the paint is faded and the interior is ok.. i want it for parts he told me to make him an offer but i dont want to pay to much... What do you think i should give him????

id say $350 TOPS! thats if its good like you say but yeah.
i bought a mint 16v for $740 from a repo place

it got rear ended 2 days after i bought it. i kept the interior,bumpers and flares and misc parts and pretty much sold the shell and engine for $600

yeah i was gonna say $200 and see what he said he kinda seems like the kinda guy that if i buy him a case he'll tell me to take it.. He was bombed when i meant him
