how much stiffer is the HR/Bilstien set-up than the stock Sport suspension (1.8T)

I have a 01 1.8T and want to upgrade the suspension. For what I a have read on these forums the HR/Bilstien has been the most popular and liked.
How much stiffer is the set-up? I was told that the for VW stock to VW sport-suspension the increase in stiffness is about 8-10%.
