Bosch...about every 5k to 15k (I aim for every other oil change). I'm anal like that, but I think it's a cheap way to maximize the life of the fuel system and ensure top performance. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Once a year, as a mater a fact, that's what I'm getting ready to do today, I'm off work, get some beck's, head to my dad's garage, clean my plug's, twist on my dizzy, turn my idle screw, try to get my freakin' idle problem straitened out somehow

14 bucks at autozone, might as well change it with the plugs.
takes 5 minutes and a small soaking of the ground if you are lazy..

I changed my fuel filter last fall and I think it was the factory one. You guys are doing this yearly?

Take yours off, and give it a blow in reverse flow. If you see crap come out, its time to change it.
Hopefully your fuel tank isn't completely krusted up.
Of course, keeping your gas tank near 50% and fuller is always good practice too..except at the drag strip

Yeah I kinda try to do it with my yearly tune-up, but with my low idle situation, I'm gonna change it again(among other adjustment's), I think some of these guy's are right, I'm gonna start changing mine with my 3,000mile oil change, there cheap enough at $15.00, I've stopped at few backwood's country gas station's, these last couple of month's, and noticed a performance decrease in my car, who know's when those tank's where put in the ground

Yeah i know in georgia, the rule is XX years, and the tanks get tore up. What happens is when a leak is found, all the dirt must be dugout and hazmat'd somewhere.
This is why gas stations go under (when leaks occurr) because nobody can afford it. Then another station comes in and opens up in its place.
Very common in georgia. The clay content in the georgia soil would be nasty.
If you could drain your gas tank i bet you'd be suprised.
Anyhoo. Just do it. Takes 10 minutes, remember, if you are lazy, it will squirt some gas, just wear goggles or be mindful of that.
Some people run their cars out of gas but honestly its not worth the effort if your hands are dexterous.

here's what i do, it involves no effort

start the car, let it run on idle for a few seconds and pull the fuel pump fuse out, after 10 seconds or so the car will stall (just ran itself out of gas!)
that relieves the pressure in the lines and make the job much cleaner and hassle free.

Hummmmm!, that's different, sound's good, but when I arrive to my dad's garage, I much rather pound some beck's
, and wait for my corrado cool down and de-pressurize, kinda make a day out of it, I'm in no hurry

don't have the bentley here but i'm curious.. what else is on the fuse with the fuel pump?
Re: how often do you change your fuel filter (itchyG60)

Read a trick somewhere, maybe in one of the manuals, probably on a thread here: where the FPR vacuum line is hook up a vacuum hand-pump. Pump it up, it will relieve the pressure in the system, no more getting squirted, just a few drops out the ends of the lines before you plug 'em.

Those are the worst for gas quality. Most mom and pop stores buy the bottom barrel stock at auctions, it's like the schwag of a 40 oz. of Schlitz Ice. Cheap but no good.
Even at name brand stores, the majority of gas they buy is no-name stuff. They only need like 40% of Mobil gas to put up the Mobil sign. The rest can be bought elsewhere.
