Re: How to change OEM foglight bulbs... (vr6willeatyou)

If your talking about the harness, they can be a P.I.T.A. Simply press down on the broad side of the metal clip and pull at the same time. Don't be surprised if you have to pull really really hard. Once you get it off, follow the instructions above. It's a good idea to lubs the end's of the assembly connectors with a little dialectic grease before you re-connect them. It will also save you lot's of frustration down the road when you need to replace your bulbs again.

Thats the way I did it. How did you put the passenger side buld in with out touching the bulb itself
I'm not expecting that one to last too long

K.....I found it easiest to go from the top. Behind the headlight and reach around that thingie....not sure what that is. Unplug the wire connector....from car to fog housing. You'll have to get a firm grip on the black electrical housing and turn counter-clockwise.....this will be the hardest part....for me at least....here you can see the brown ground wire...you'll want to unplug this first.....

This is what it looks like from underneath(paseenger side)....notice the ground(brown wire) slot facing down(toward floor)...when you reconnect, remember this....

Next come the butterfly clips....push down and squeeze towards the center...they will swivel left or right(depends on what side you are on.) Also notice the way the wire(actual bulb) facing towards the center of the car...remeber that when you reinstall.....

pull the bulb wire off the black housing and reverse the process to install the new one.
Remember I did everything from up top....easiest for me....don't be scared to move the wires from the plastic clips that hold them to the car....will be alot easier...... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif But to make sure everything goes in straight.....go through the bottom.
Good luck.

Why would you remove the whole assembly?!!!!
Just twist off the cover in back as shown in the photos and squeeze the spring clips.
