The guy who installed it say's that hks makes one that will let me set the alarm while the car is cooling down.. Also could i get an aftermarket alarm that would let me do this ??? And also could i find an alarm that worked w/ the stock remote??

Re: how to get Greddy TT to work w/ factory alarm?? (FlashRedGLS1.8T)

DO NOT USE those directions for a 02 car. THey are different, I can do the wiring if someone gets me the diagrams. I did some pics that will be up tonite of the install on vwmike81s car and will be doing an install page soon for it and 02s once I get the wiring diagrams.

Chris is correct - the wire for the comfort controle module has "changed" - but after reviewing my manual I dont know to what. So, those instructions noted above would be for a 99-01 VW.
Chris, when you find your info out, I'd love to toss it on the above site too - if that is acceptable - please let me know.. thank you kindly...

Yeah just wire in the relay and boom you're all set - your TT will continue to work as it has - but now the alarm can be set when the car is still running as long as the key is out ... enjoy!
