I have been told to use a heatgun, or if I can't get one, just use a hairdryer. I tried the hairdryer for about an hour, and nothing loosened up at all. What can make this easier? I want to pull the top part off (the blinker).

do u have a stock one? there is nothing u can do on those....
a heat gun is not that much, should be like $35 bucks....
or rent one....

are you sure there is nothing that can be done with the stock tails? I'm pretty sure people have done the mod I am thinking of by using stock tails with other tails.

Back in my Nissan days I was told, never did it tho. That you turn your oven on and use the taillight top prop it open for like a while. May end up with baked tails tho.
