Re: How would you rate your dealership? (skills)
I live in Boston area. Bough my GTi from Boston VW in Allston MA.
Not knowing much about these area coming from Pennsylvania I've had good experiences with two previous car purchase, thought every dealer was decent. How stupid I was.
Here is the full story rather long but you won't believe this:
1st Inciddent:
Boston VW service people purchured my tired and scratched my rim and replaced the purchured tire with spare in my trunk. Then didn't tell me about it until I came home to find out my spare was missing when I opened up the trunk due to clunking sound from tools that were not properly mounted.
Over the phone the service manager bluntly denied it first. Then they admitted that service person was moving my car and punchured my tire and replaced it with spare. Anyway, I had to haggel and hassel just to get brand new rim and a full spare from another GTi in the parking lot.
2nd Incident:
I stopped in for 5000miles service. As I was waiting for my car to be serviced. I watched a service guy pulling out of the dealership parking lot with my GTi. I watched him squeeling my car and cutting infront of this fast on coming traffic causing the car behind to almost slam my GTi from behind. The tire skidding sound was so loud every people in the dealership including general manager of that place to look.
I confronted the service guy as he came back. "WTF are you doing with my car? Would you f'ing drive your f'in car like that you azzhole!" A service manager jumped in between us, took the car key from the azzhole then goes "See this key, take this and get the fxk out of this parking lot!"
Yup all truth...all but sad truth. Besides me many fellow dubbers have been burnt by this dealership. They are the scum of the earth. I bet Jim Ellis is better than this f'in dealership.
Peace!
