Key Design Elements:

Wheel Fitment: Unlike most Big Brake Kits, the HPA system is designed to fit behind the OEM 18" wheels without any spacers. Note: Factory dust shield must be removed to accommodate larger rotor.

Weight Savings: These kits shave 6 pounds of rotational mass per rotor, which results in improved acceleration and deceleration, and a total of 32 pounds of un-sprung weight for improved suspension function.

Calipers: CNC machined from billet aluminum, the fixed calipers are designed to increase rigidity, improve braking efficiency, and improve pedal feel. Featuring internal crossover pipes, these calipers have a sleek streamlined look with no fragile external components. Pistons are sized to HPA specification with exact piston bore for perfect front and rear balance. Piston seals protect from dust, weather, and pressure to meet DOT spec.

Rotors: Two piece floating rotor with directional curved vanes, and HPA curved slots. Hats are anodized CNC machined aluminum, and discs are zinc-plated for corrosion protection.

Pads: The ceramic compound pads included with the kit are suitable for street and mild track use. They create minimal brake dust and are relatively quiet. Sharing the same profile as Corvette C5/C6, there are many different replacement options available on the open market. Note: the OEM pad wear sensors are eliminated.

I already have existing tuning on my car. Will it be compatible with your manifold?

For those enthusiasts already utilizing aftermarket tuning for their 2.0 FSI engines – your current software tuning can be retained. A CNC machined component is provided with the hardware package for code free performance. This component can be removed by simply asking your tuner for an RFD (run flap delete) addition. Custom tuning is available for those who cannot receive local software support for the TSI manifold from their local tuner.

Any update on the K04 switch lately? It still shows as modified OEM on the site...
K04 page on the website updated: http://www.hpamotorsports.com/product_k04.html

HPA has searched for high quality manufacturing sources from around the world for a number of years; drawing from vendors in Europe, China and across North America. From mufflers to castings to pistons to turbos, we attend a variety of industry shows to ensure our programs are outfit with the highest quality materials at the best costs to ensure we can stay competitive in the global market. In the case of our new K04 offering, when we found a supplier that offered a casting for the compressor and exhaust of the KO4 that met with our design requirements, we were excited to bring it into our program. We purchased these units and had them assembled and balanced to our strict standards then thoroughly tested them for 12 months prior to market release.
