yup the passenger side failed this morning. i rolled up the window and *POP!!!* i hit the down button to see what it was and the window just dropped. great... and it looks like it's starting to rain.
i called the momentum VW and they already knew what was wrong before i could finish describing it. i guess they've seen too many of them already. but they were more than happy to schedule me immediately this morning.
heheh thank god i still have about 700 miles left in my factory warranty.

jamie...

Man...I feel your pain---I had all 4 go out in my '95 Jetta GLX within 3 weeks of each other.......needless to say..it was a little painful on the wallet..and no warranty!
No problems with the '02 GTI yet though (KNOCKING ON WOOD LIKE IT WAS IS MY JOB!!!!!!!)

They now make a repair kit which is much less then the whole regulator assem. which is what I believe the dealers are going to use when the regulator is still under waranty. Ask your dealer if they have them available yet, or maybe my source is unreliable-but it makes sense.
