Is it an absolute nessecity to get heavy duty valve springs with teh 268 schrick cams? ONe reputable mech told me yes, another say no............ Please respond if u knwo for a fact. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

they allow you to rev higher rpms, if u dont get em, and rev past 7K youll get bindage

i rev to 7500 with out heavy duty valve springs with 268 cams.for about 3 months anyway just to be safe i brought tectonics springs i`m still worried about them.

is it safe to rev past 7k? even with the 268's and heavy duty valve springs? Can teh engine handle that?

Get the springs...If ya dont get em you could get bindage and bend some valves (I DID, and yes with the 268's )....I got the Schricks from Denon, cuz some people said the techtonics failed on em....GET THE SPRINGS!!!!!
